Quick answers
What is the TRON backup?
A BIP-39 recovery phrase (12 words in TronLink; hardware wallets such as Ledger use 24), a private key, or a keystore file with its password. The wallet software determines which applies.
Why is my USDT-TRC20 missing after restore?
TRC-20 tokens live on the Tron network. Restore in a Tron-compatible wallet and re-add the token to see it.
What is the default TRON path?
m/44'/195'/0'/0/0; if you derived an account on a custom path, restore it with that same path.
Our Tron (TRX) wallet recovery services
Incomplete or invalid recovery phrase
TronLink backs up a wallet with a standard 12-word BIP-39 phrase, and restoring it recreates the Tron account in any compatible wallet. When several words are missing or uncertain, the word list and checksum bound the search. We reconstruct phrases with up to four missing words, depending on which positions are known and on an address to check against. How missing seed words are recovered
Forgotten keystore password
A keystore file holds a private key in encrypted form, and importing it needs the password that encrypted it. When that password is gone, we search for it against a copy of the file, using what you remember: its length, a pattern or an old variant. With nothing to go on, the search space is rarely practical, and the assessment tells you so. Forgot your wallet password?
Forgotten TronLink password or lost device
The TronLink password only opens the wallet on one device, and TronLink stores no phrase, key or password for you. With the phrase, private key or keystore file, you import the wallet again and set a new password. Without them, keep the old phone, computer or browser profile untouched: if the wallet data survives there, the password can be searched against it. Wallet on a lost or reset phone
Zero TRX or missing USDT after a restore
A valid phrase can open an empty-looking account when the derivation path or account index differs. TronLink numbers extra accounts at the end of the path and Ledger at the account level, so the two agree only on the first account. USDT can also stay hidden until the token is added. We compare the restored address with your funded one on the TRON blockchain; a wrong path or account is a fix, not a loss. Derivation path and account discovery
Unsure which wallet or network held your USDT
USDT runs on several networks, and one recovery phrase can hold addresses on more than one of them. A TRON address starts with T, an Ethereum address with 0x. If you are unsure which wallet or network held your TRX or USDT, we check the addresses and wallets you remember to find where the funds actually sit. Tokens not showing in a wallet
Before you contact us
Mistakes to avoid
- Don't enter a Tron phrase into a website that offers to "check" your USDT or convert a phrase into a private key.
- Don't import a seed phrase that someone shares online, however much USDT it seems to hold.
- Don't uninstall TronLink or reset the old phone or browser while it may still hold the wallet.
- Don't trust anyone who promises to get stolen TRX or USDT back. A confirmed TRON transaction cannot be reversed. Warning signs of crypto scams
- Never share your phrase, private key, keystore file or password with anyone, including us, to get an assessment.
Information that helps the assessment
- Which wallet you used, such as TronLink, Trust Wallet or a Ledger, and on which device.
- A funded TRON address you remember (it starts with T), so we can check it on the blockchain.
- What survives: a recovery phrase and how many of its words, a private key, a keystore file, or a device that still has the wallet. Describe it; don't send it.
- What you remember about the keystore or wallet password.
- Whether you ever added extra accounts or used a custom derivation path.
- What happened, and what you have already tried.
Boundaries
What we do not do
Theft, scams or a wrong address
A confirmed blockchain transaction cannot be reversed, cancelled or redirected, by us or by anyone.
A completely lost recovery phrase
With no phrase, wallet file, device, backup or partial information left, there is nothing to reconstruct from.
Guaranteed outcomes
No honest service can guarantee success. Whether recovery is possible depends on what you still have, and the assessment tells you before you commit.
We tell you honestly what is realistic before you commit — including when the answer is no.
How it works
A clear process from first contact to handover.
Tell us what happened
Share the wallet or software name, approximate year, device, problem and what material still exists. Do not send a seed phrase, private key, password, wallet file or ID document.
Initial feasibility view
Once we have enough information, we usually explain the likely recovery route, the main uncertainties and an initial indication of duration.
Verify and agree
We verify identity and ownership or legal authority. Scope, working method, fee and sensitive-material handling are agreed in writing before sensitive work begins.
Transfer or hand over material
PGP, our secure encrypted upload environment, in-person handover or agreed shipment may be used. We request only what is needed and work with copies where possible.
Technical recovery
We test the agreed recovery route in a controlled environment. You receive meaningful updates when findings affect the outlook, scope or next decision.
Client-controlled handover
Access is handed back through the agreed route. You open the wallet and move the assets to a wallet you control; case material is then handled according to the agreement and privacy policy.
Trust
A real company with a verifiable process.
Registered & named
Registered in the Netherlands (KvK 75927276) with a named team and a physical office in Amsterdam.
A written agreement first
Scope, fee and security measures are agreed in writing before any work. If you prefer, we can sign an NDA before you share substantive case details.
Always non-custodial
We restore access; you move the coins yourself. We never hold, manage or transfer your assets.
Ownership is verified
Identity, ownership and legal authority are verified with risk-based KYC/AML checks.
Good to know about Tron wallet recovery
- The backup is the wallet's own. Tron (TRX) and TRC-20 tokens like USDT are managed through wallets such as TronLink, Trust Wallet and Ledger. The backup is a BIP-39 recovery phrase (12 words in TronLink), a private key or a keystore file.
- Private keys. A TRON private key is a 64-character hexadecimal string that controls one address.
- USDT needs TRX to move. A TRC-20 transfer is a smart-contract call that uses Energy, and without staked Energy the network burns TRX to pay for it. A restored account that holds only USDT needs some TRX before the tokens can move.
- Account permissions. A balance at an address does not prove your key can still spend it, because TRON lets an account's owner permission be moved to another address. Shared "free USDT" wallets are set up this way. Tronscan shows an account's current permissions.
- Label the backup. Write the network and token type (TRC-20) on the backup, so whoever restores it knows where to look.
Tron (TRX) wallet recovery FAQ
Can I recover a Tron wallet without the recovery phrase?
Sometimes. A private key, a keystore file with its password, or a device where the wallet is still installed can each restore access. With no phrase, no key and no keystore, the keys are gone and nobody can rebuild them.
Is it safe to import a seed phrase someone shared online?
Never. Wallets shared in comments and chat groups are bait: their permissions are set so that the phrase alone cannot move anything. A fee you send in to withdraw the USDT is taken, and the tokens stay locked.
How much does crypto wallet recovery cost?
It depends on the wallet's value and how complex the case is: our success fee runs from 20% of the recovered amount down to 2%. The exact rate is agreed in writing before any work starts — no hidden costs and no hourly rates.
Do you take custody of the assets at any point?
No. We restore access; you open the wallet and move the funds yourself. We cannot initiate a transaction on your behalf.
Do I need to send my seed phrase or password?
No — first contact needs no sensitive material, and we never ask for it through forms or chat. Under a written agreement we can work with copies of wallet files in a controlled environment, so your keys stay under your control.
What if my wallet was stolen or I was scammed?
We do not take stolen-crypto or scam cases, and blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. That is a police and legal matter.
