Can you recover MetaMask if I forgot my password?
In most cases, yes, if the encrypted vault file still exists on your device. We extract the vault and test password candidates systematically on offline machines. The more you remember about the password’s structure, the faster and more likely the recovery. A free assessment tells you where you stand before any commitment.
Will I ever lose control of my funds during recovery?
Never. Once access is restored, you move the funds yourself to a wallet you set up, and you pay the fee at that same moment. We’re not involved in your wallet at any other point.
I’m missing part of my Secret Recovery Phrase. Is that fixable?
If you still have 8 or more of the 12 words and roughly know which positions are missing, reconstruction is often possible. We test the gaps against the BIP-39 wordlist and your own wallet addresses.
What’s this going to cost me?

Common mistakes to avoid
- Don’t share your password or Secret Recovery Phrase with anyone claiming to be “MetaMask support.” MetaMask never asks for this.
- Don’t enter your password or phrase into any online “recovery” tool.
- Don’t respond to “recovery agents” who contact you after you’ve posted about losing access; this is often a second scam.
- If you’ve uninstalled MetaMask, stop using that device for anything else right away.

MetaMask Wallet Recovery FAQ
Can MetaMask support reset my password or phrase?
No. MetaMask is non-custodial, which means the company does not store your password, your Secret Recovery Phrase, or your private keys anywhere. Their support team has nothing to reset. That is also why anyone claiming to be “MetaMask support” and asking for your phrase or password is running a scam.
My Secret Recovery Phrase is incomplete. Can you help?
If you have at least 8 of the 12 words and have a reasonable idea of where the gaps are, reconstruction is often possible. We search the missing positions against the BIP-39 wordlist, checking each candidate against the cryptographic checksum and the blockchain addresses associated with your wallet. A phrase with more than 4 missing words or no context about word positions is generally not recoverable through computation alone.
I uninstalled MetaMask. Is my wallet gone?
Not necessarily. Your funds never left the blockchain, and the encrypted vault sometimes survives in browser profile files or on the drive’s unallocated space. The less the drive has been written to since the uninstall, the better the chances. Stop using the device for anything non-essential and request an assessment.
I was scammed through MetaMask. Can you recover my funds?
No. Blockchain transactions are irreversible, and we do not work on theft, fraud, or scam cases. Our focus is on helping rightful wallet owners who are locked out of funds they still own. Be extremely cautious of any service that claims it can reverse or recover stolen transactions.
What does MetaMask wallet recovery cost?
